About the Program

Our Spirit Program is a fun, VIP experience for a select few athletes across the country! We are happy to provide our athletes with exclusive and custom gear, event merchandise, and accessories. Being part of the Spirit Family means you get to rep everything Total Spirit has to offer. 


Athletes are selected through the Spirit Search that runs every summer. Athletes are chosen for the full season - if you are interested in applying, the search is open from July 9 - July 20!

How do I apply?

When the applications are open, post a cheer-related photo or video on your Instagram feed and tag us @totalspirit. Make sure you use the hashtag #TotalSpiritSearch!

Can I post on my story only?

No - posts must be on your feed to qualify as an entry.

Do I need a big following?

No, you do not need to have a big following. You do need to be active on social media and comfortable posting and creating content.

Is there an age limit?

No, there is no age limit. For 2026-2027, we are excited to launch two different age tiers of Spirit Athletes. We will have Junior Spirit Athletes 14 and under, and Senior Spirit Athletes aged 15+.

Does it matter what team I am on?

No - we accept athletes of all ages and skill levels!

Can I apply with a private account?

Yes, you can still apply if your account is private but please make sure you accept our follow request so we can see your entry!

Can I apply if I am a coach, not an athlete?

Yes, coaches are welcome to apply!
